Abby May Miller creates richly unique jewelry collections inspired by the vast landscape and bold color found in the large scale geodes, rocks, and minerals of the Southwest, where her roots formed. After earning two degrees in fine art and fashion design, Abby May moved to New York City for an internship with Diane Von Furstenberg; There, she learned how to create collections and refine her merchandising skills. She began creating one of a kind art-to-wear jewelry, combining hammered metals, stones, and crystals to create a richly unique jewelry collection. Each piece of Abby May’s collection is designed and handcrafted in her Brooklyn studio. Abby May Jewelry is sold in over 60 fine specialty stores nationwide and continues to grow. Her objet d’art pieces are also sought after by collectors.
Abby May Jewelry in PARIS
In 2017, Abby had her first international exhibition at the Columbia Global Center in Paris. Her show titled “Adornment: Beauty and the Power of the Inanimate” showcased 80 pieces of jewelry along with large scale mixed media paintings. The theme of the show focused on how materials such as rocks, minerals, and metals become infused with life when transformed into objects of beauty adorned on the body.
